Arches and stone wall construction, with fountain-filled courtyards and gardens, a Mediterranean, white-washed chapel, 3 stone cabins and an historic styled accommodation wing of 4 large studio rooms, together create a small European village atmosphere with unique romantic photo backdrops at every turn.
The complex has been designed with flexibility of use and choice in mind. There are outdoor and indoor options available so that the weather has little impact, enabling your event to continue. The layout and features of the complex enable everything to happen on-site, so that the logistics of organising any event are simplified – everything can come to you.
Be involved in the planning as much or as little as you choose. You have the freedom to engage all of your own suppliers or, for a hands-off approach, use our partner planning and stylist experts (Maple Weddings and Events) to do all the organising for you. They have a wealth of industry knowledge, brilliant logistics skills and are well connected with the local suppliers simplifying the planning process (and they're masters at improvisation when things don't quite go to plan).
The large function room easily seats 90 and the adjoining atrium is perfect for pre-dinner or canape-style entertaining. There is a commercial kitchen on-site enabling final prep and plating for more formal dinning and food trucks are also able to operate well on site, providing a wide choice in catering options.

About Goodwater Ridge
Goodwater Ridge is a destination venue. The complex is situation on the original homestead site from which the pioneers settled the Blackall Range.
Nestled on 100 acres of rural pasture and remnant rainforest, Goodwater Ridge is an operating agricultural property situated in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Located near the popular tourist towns of Maleny and Montville, and just 5 minutes from the historic township of Landsborough which provides easy access to the Qld Rail network.
Approximately an hour and a half’s drive north of Brisbane CBD, the site also offers extensive onsite parking for cars and buses. An ideal setting perfect for any special event be it weddings, conferences and training events, corporate occasions and product launches, or a gathering of extended family and friends for any of life’s milestones.
